Birthday

My birthday was May 23rd. I am now 24 years old! Almost a quarter of a century! I feel pretty young still, mostly because 24 still young. So that makes perfect sense... Anyway, here is what happened for my birthday!

First on Saturday, the day before my birthday, we went to Thanksgiving Point for the Wool Festival. They had lots of types of animals, not just animals with wool as you can see...
That's me in front of a horse. I'm not going to lie, horses kind of freak me out. I don't like them close to me.
Caitlin loves horses. And I'm pretty sure that horse loves her.
I learned that turkey's have really ugly faces. I think they are one of the ugliest animals ever, but I still like to eat them.
I thought this little guy was trying to kill himself, but I'm pretty sure he was just trying to eat that grass on the other side of the fence. Either way, I still feel sorry for him.
This little animal ran and slid under the mom there and started drinking away. PIGS
This was pretty weird to watch. This farmer would just shove and pin down that sheep with his legs and put it in a neckbreaking headlock, then shear away. Then he let little kids come up and touch the sheep, but most of the kids seemed scared after watching him manhandle that sheep.
Then on Sunday, Caitlin led me on a scavenger hunt around Provo. She would leave clues at each spot and I had to figure out where the next clue/ present was. It was super fun! Here I am opening up one of the presents - PRISON BREAK season 4! We love that show!

We made a dinner we saw Giada make on the food network. I can't remember what it's called, but it was super delicious! We also had 24 cupcakes and that was the start of a wonderful tradition - one cupcake for each year of life... I can't wait until I'm like 100! Here's a couple pictures.

The End.

Catching up

Hey everybody

I've been slacking a lot lately and not keeping up with the blog posts and I have a lot to blog about too - like the engagement. So you better keep checking the blog to see when I blog about the engagement.

But I'm going to knock out some of the not-so-epic events that take less preparation to blog about... Caitlin called them "Baby Blogs" not because we have a baby, but because these blogs are just little blog posts.

Like this awesome trip to Capitol Hill in Salt Lake!
Of course we tried to get some jumping pictures in front of the building, but we only had the camera on my phone and couldn't quite get the timing right for the delay it has in capturing the moment. It was hard to time it with our jumps as you can see below.I'm just a Bill at Capitol Hill (School House Rock)

So basically, we just look kind of stupid/awesome. I didn't know that combo was possible, but it is. We rocked it.

We also rode this fake buffalo across the street.

Capitol Hill was pretty fun. There were a lot of brides there taking their bridal photos so that was fun for Caitlin to watch because she loves looking at wedding dresses. It felt pretty awesome being up there. I wanted to have a nice suit and briefcase and become a congressman.

More baby blogs and the engagement blog to come!

Mega Shark VS Giant Octopus

What would you think if you saw this gracing the walls of blockbuster?

Caitlin and I would often see this movie on the New Releases wall when we would go to Blockbuster. So one day we decided to rent it when my roommates were gone so they wouldn't judge us for renting this movie. As you can probably tell by looking at the cover, this is probably one of the worst movies ever made. I did like the part where the Mega Shark flew through the air and chomped down on a huge commercial airliner. That was pretty awesome and realistic.

So I think I won't rent movies out of curiosity anymore...
