Hey faithful followers of my blog! sorry i've been slacking on the posts lately! Someday, i'll be the best blogger in the whole world! Just not now... Here's some pictures and stories of what has been going on here lately.
Here's the roomate shot. it's the fourth and final roommate photo we needed to fill the frame on the wall in our house! We all went to salt lake on a group date to go ice skating in a little outdoor rink. It was way fun, except for when i tried to do a hockey stop (i was good at it when i was younger) and i just fell on my face! my vision was way messed up for about a half hour and i felt dizzy and sick for a bit, but i kept skating - i'm just that hardcore! and while we were skating, one of the workers came onto the ice and spread out some rose petals around and some guy proposed to some girl. it was fun. she said yes. i got a pic with my camera phone.

Jody and Dieter came to Utah! I went to Park City and got Jody while Dieter and his brother were snowboarding. this is a picture of how i drive in the snow... It was fun to play with Jody and Dieter! We went to Tucanos and went bowling and went to wingers and jody and i went to the movies. it was way fun and i wish they lived in utah! to see more pictures look at Jody's blog if you can, she might have some blocks on there, i'm not sure. This month was my roommate Stephen's birthday! he's flippin' old! 23! just messin' that's not very old. I put this picture up so you can see the awesome mosiacs my roommates Garrett and Cole made. We appriciate the Arts in our apartment. Stephen's birthday party was fun, we just visited with a bunch of people and ate cake and ice cream.Valentine's Day - I had a pretty fun Vanentine's Day. everyone was giving away candy which is always awesome! I made an awesome pop-up card for caitlin and hid it in my house with little tweety bird elementary school kid valentine's day cards hidden all around my house with clues to where the pop-up card was hidden. caitlin loved that, and she totally liked the card. She likes giraffes a lot for some reason, so i drew on one there and also used a picture of her hugging some other girl, but i cut out that girl and put my picture from halloween of 2004 in there. it's way funny. We also had a great dinner at my apartment, lasagna with salad and garlic bread. Then we watched Eagle Eye. That movie was way intense! i don't want to watch it again ever probably, but it was a good movie.

I'll post again soon!

blog!

i haven't blogged in a long time. i'm trying to make a new one right now but i'm watching a jackie chan movie on tv, so there might be some spelling errors or even the sentences might not make sense. if that's the case, just look at the pictures.now that i'm looking at this picture, i don't think it's jakie chan. all asians kind of look alike... if they're in the middle of fighting. but its still awesome.

but here's some of the activities that have been going on lately.
Stephen tried to do the dishes...

i don't think it was that bad of an idea, because now our floor is way clean too!

here's some friends from halloween

Erin and Stephen

Kimbre and Cole

these are from Garrett's ugly sweater christmas party

This is when we saw the forgotten carols at UVU. it was really good! if you haven't seen it, i definatly recommend that you do.

and just for fun, this is what my bathroom looks like.

Here's Sierra from Thanksgiving. she likes to grab my hair. in that second picutre, she drooled all over the back of my head... and the last picture is fun too. i think her eye is open a little bit, just like how her mom sleeps.

Halloween!

here's my roommates and some nerd. we've got karl malone (that's my jersey that i'm going to wear to a Jazz game someday), sonny bono, stephen = High School Musical, and me.
halloween was pretty fun. i hung out with my friends and did some party hopping with my friend jessica. we went to a stake dance and i busted out my sweet dance moves. and we finished up the night watching the sixth sense with some friends. it was way fun!
ps. i constructed my costume entirely from clothes that i wear regularly. so eventhough it was easy for me to dress like a nerd from my own clothes, it was way hard to act like a nerd. actually i think i was pretty good at that too. you should have seen my nerdy run. it was way funny.

Cho Lee Je's family

i was pretty lucky this week and had an opportunity that most return missionaires don't get. i was able to see a family that we baptized in korea with a couple of my mission companions. it was Cho Lee Je and his family.
we met them in an area called bul-gwang. i served there for 6 months and had two different companions when i was there, elder brimhall and elder jensen.

here's elder brimhall the day he transferred out. here's elder jensen. he slept like that at night o he would already be dressed and ready
and have more time for scripture study...
we served in the bul-gwang ward and the church building is pink. just thought i'd let you know.

this building was orginially a day care type place for the children. i don't know if it was pink when we kicked the kids out and used it for a church, or if we painted it pink afterwards.

it is a 3 story building. one day we met there to carpool for soccer and we found some teenagers that broke in and we're smoking, eating our food from the kitchen, and hanging out in some of the classrooms. two of them ran away but i totally caught one of them. he didn't want to learn the message of the restoration.

we met Cho Lee Je and his family and began teaching them. they were totally awesome from the start. we saw lots of miracles happen with this family. here's their baptism day picture.

the family, except for the oldest son because he is in the korean army for 2 years, came here. they visited some friends in missouri and then came to utah. we met them here in provo after they went on a tour of BYU and the MTC, and we went to Salt Lake City together. we tried to get to a session at the temple, but we missed the last session by 5 minutes. they let us participate in other ordinances at the temple and it was amazing. it was so much fun to be with that family again. they are so awesome!
here's a picture at the hotel where they were staying.

the munchies

it's really slow at work right now so i thought i'd make a blog post. and this was the first thing i thought of to write about.
at work, when i'm not hungry but i want to eat, i always get the same thing. my first choice is always the chocolate chocolate chip grandma's cookies. when i thought they couldn't get any more soft, they came out with the "now even softer" cookie as you can see on the picture below.

lately, due to their popularity, these have not been in the vending machine, so now i get this awesome combo! M&M's and Cool Ranch Doritos!

and don't worry, i don't eat them at the same time, i don't think the flavors would mix well. and i am healthy too because i take a vitamin packet called Lifepak Nano. we sell it here and there's a bunch of free packets in the break room so i take that everyday.

i was thinking of bringing some doublestuff oreos to work with me and a cup and leaving a gallon of milk in the fridge. if you've got some good ideas for snacking at work, let me know!

teenage politics

hey,

i went to Salt Lake City last night to see MXPX! it was an awesome show! i saw them back in 2003 at the Irvine Spectrum in California and they still sound awesome live. i need to catch up on their newer music. they only played a couple songs from the album Teenage Politics, and only a couple from The Ever Passing Moment, the only albums i know pretty well. But, their other songs were just as good if not better than the songs from the albums i know. i shook hands with the singer and the drummer-that's 2/3 of the band! but the sand news is that i already washed my hands, so yeah.

the guitarist and the drummer

i think this is when they played one of the songs i know

here's jessica and me, the only mxpx fans from among our friends, with the singer/bass player. i was totally feeling tattoo-less. the other band that played was lagwagon. i liked them in high school, but they didn't play a good show. we left a little early because we didn't think listening to them play was worth becoming a little more deaf.

so if mxpx is ever going to play near you i encourage you to see them play. and if you ever see them at The Venue in SLC, there's really good tacos that only cost a dollar each across the street.

California

i was going to wait to do this blog because i wanted my dad to send me some photos from his camera to post on here, but he hasn't sent them yet. so i'll just add those photos to my blog later.
i flew into california, long beach airport last thursday the 24th for sierra's baby blessing. it was so fun to go to california and be with everyone, well everyone except jody and dieter, they couldn't come, but it was fun anyway. when i flew in my mom, jenny, sierra and i went to souplantation, where i used to work, for dinner. we were there for about two hours and i was eating the whole time! some people may think that i might not eaten very much anyway because i eat so slow... here's some pics though!

that's me eating an ice cream cone and there's my mom and sierra

i don't know how sierra did it, but somehow she managed to pee and it went through the diaper, through the blanket and on my mom... they changed her right away and wrapped her in a different blanket then gave her to me. it looks like in this picture sierra and i think it's pretty funny that she peed on mom.

well, the next day, friday, i met up with some old friends from high school and we ate lunch together at pick up stix. i ate with stephen nelson, kenny palmer and sean april. that was so much fun, i had a good group back in high school. we went to balboa island as a family too. it was fun. we all went to the salt water taffy place on the island and then my mom really wanted to go to the toy store there. it was pretty cool. we also ate at BJ's and had pizookies for dessert! those are sooo good!

here's the pizookie!

here's some pictures from saturday morning. sierra is so fun.

she already recognizes her favorite uncle!

during the day, my dad and i went to taqueria for lunch then we went and saw hancock at the birch street theatres. it was pretty fun. then we had a family bbq which was delicious. i think i also got some campitelli cookies on saturday too.

on sunday the baby blessing was great. jason blessed sierra and did a great job. here's a pic of sierra in her little white dress with her parents.

i was supposed to fly out sunday night for provo, and when i got to the airport, i found out my flight was delayed 6 hours... while i waited i just read my book with the occasional break to do some people watching and what not. about 4 hours into my wait, they announced that my flight was cancelled. so, jason picked me up and i went back to their house. i caught a flight monday which had a stop in las vegas. i sat next to a pretty old lady. when the plane was taking off, we were both way excited and said to eachother at almost exactly the same time, "take offs and landings are my favorite part!"afther that, she was talking to me non-stop. during the flight she was looking at land marks and guessing which cities we were flying over. it was pretty funny because she'd get so excited and prove to me which city it was by explaing all the surrounding landmarks. i had my tv on the flight tracking channel so i could tell her our speed and altitude every couple of minutes too. she asked where i was flying to and i said salt lake city, and for the rest of the flight she kept asking me about seattle eventhough i told her about 5 times i wasn't going to seattle but to salt lake city utah. haha, later she asked my major and when i told her psychology, she said that she sat next to a psychologist on the way to california... and the psychologist was from seattle too. i love meeting people on the plane!

oh and here's one last picture. you know you're professional at holding babies when you can hold one like this...
